Print books (and some media items) available at other Florida public colleges and universities can be obtained more quickly than through standard interlibrary loan.

To use this service:

1. Search the USF Libraries Catalog for the book or media item.
2. Select “Statewide Catalog” from the drop-down menu and click search again.
3. Sign in using your NetID and password.
4. Click on the title of the item that you want.
5. Click “Check for Available Services”.
6. Select “UBorrow Request” under How to Get it.
7. Fill out the form and be sure to indicate your desired pickup location.
8. Click on "Send request".
9. We will notify you when the book is available! You will need to pick up your item within 7 days.

The loan period for UBorrow books is 90 days, with a single 30-day renewal possible. Some libraries also loan media materials (with a shorter loan period of 21 days).
