Reserve materials are located behind the desk at both the Shimberg Health Sciences Library and the Florida Blue Health Knowledge Exchange. These include (but are not limited to) books and other course reserve materials, laptops, headphones, and dry-erase markers. Eligible students may borrow SonoSims at the Florida Blue Health Knowledge Exchange.

Library desk staff can help you locate reserves by title, author, instructor, or course. Loan periods vary depending on the item: 2 hours, 24 hours, 48 hours, 7 days, or (for laptops) 30 days.

Instructors may place their own books/material or books/material from the Shimberg Circulating Collection on reserve at either USFHL location, for loan to students. Use the following form, and choose your preferred loan period (2-hour, 24-hour, 48-hour, or 1 week). Please note that personal copies will undergo some physical processing (placement of call number sticker, reserve sticker, barcode, and security strip) before placement on the reserve shelf, to facilitate lending them to students.
