EndNote Online (also sometimes listed as EndNote Web) is web-based and does many of the same things (save citations, create bibliographies automatically in Microsoft Word, etc). Even if you do not plan to use the online version, it can be useful to register for an EndNote account to sync your desktop library to back-up your work and to allow you to easily transfer your library to a new device.
Depending on the version of EndNote you have installed, select either EndNote Web (for EndNote 21) or EndNote online classic if you use EndNote 20 or a previous version
If you have previously registered for an account for EndNote or other Clarivate product, such as Web of Science, log in using that information.
If not, select the Register button and follow the prompts to create your free account.
Be sure to use your USF-affiliated email to register
