EndNote can search for full-text articles using open access repositories (like PubMed Central) and library-specific tools. To enable this feature:

Steps:

1. Open EndNote Desktop and go to the Edit menu.

    

2. Select Preferences
3. In the Preferences window, choose Find Full Text from the left-hand menu
4. Make sure the following boxes are checked:
   • Web of Science Full Text Links
   • DOI
   • PubMed LinkOut
5. Check the OpenURL box.
6. In the OpenURL Path field, enter the following URL:

   https://my.openathens.net/auth?entityID=https://idp.usf.edu/openathens
   

7. The window should now look like this:

For articles that found only the URL, you can look at the USF catalog for them directly.  Right-click on the article record, then select Open URL Link. This will open up the catalog entry for the record.

Look for the links under Full text availability and click. This should take you to the article PDF to download.

For articles and items available only in print or unavailable in the USF Libraries collection, use Request Books and Articles for additional options to request the materials!
