How to Access the Micromedex Mobile Drug Information App

The USF Health Libraries subscription offers members of the USF Health community access to the new Micromedex app for Apple and Android devices. This will allow you to access information directly from the Micromedex database.

1. Search for Micromedex from the App Store or Google Play. Download and install the app to your device.

2. Access Micromedex through the USF Health Libraries page. This will ensure that you have the proper permissions. 

3. Click on the Mobile Application Access link in the top right corner of the page.

4. Click open the section titled Micromedex Mobile Apps Access and click on the activation link (step 4b).

5. Open the app.  Look for the activation code shown on the screen.

6. Enter the code provided into the space. Click Activate Device and begin using the app!

Legacy Micromedex Mobile Apps

If you prefer to use the content-specific legacy Micromedex apps, you may still do so. Find the information to download and access these apps by logging in to Micromedex through the USF Health Libraries site and clicking on Mobile Application Access. Click open the Micromedex Mobile Apps Access as shown above and scroll down to the app you wish to download. You will find the password needed to access each app there.
