Textbook Adoption Compliance Deadlines

Summer Deadline:           March 15, 2026

Fall Deadline:                   April 15, 2026

Spring Deadline:              October 15, 2025

Beginning Fall 2025, a new regulation is in place requiring that instructors attest each semester to the review of all required course materials to ensure their appropriateness.

Adoption and attestation procedures differ, depending on whether your courses are in the Main Campus Oasis/Banner or in the Health instance of Banner.

Health Banner

• Use the old Follett interface to submit your adoptions:  https://adoptions.efollett.com/OnlineAdoptionsWeb/onlineAdoptions.html?storeNumber=2094&langId=en_US

Main Banner

• Faculty: Access Follett Discover through the ‘My Materials’ link within your course in Canvas.
• Textbook Coordinators and Concierge accounts can no longer submit orders on behalf of faculty.
• Each faculty member must submit their own adoption by the deadline.
• Only orders submitted through Follett Discover will be accepted going forward—email or phone orders will not meet the new compliance requirements.

In compliance with Florida Statute 112.131, faculty members who are the author of a textbook, book, software, or collateral materials and who requires the use of that material in their course or courses, must receive approval prior to that use.
